The mobile flip-bucket garbage station (also known as a mobile garbage compactor or integrated compression container) is a modern sanitation facility that integrates garbage collection, compression, sealed storage, and transportation into one unit. Its core feature is that the compactor and the garbage container are combined into a single movable entity. It is typically used in conjunction with a hook-lift garbage truck to achieve a "multiple containers per truck, continuous transport" model.

Below is a detailed introduction to this equipment:

🏗️ Core Structure and Components

The equipment mainly consists of the following six components:

  1. Flip Mechanism (Flip Bucket): A lifting mechanism located at the front of the equipment, used to receive loose garbage dumped by sanitation workers and smoothly tip it into the compression chamber.
  2. Compactor: Composed of a hydraulic/electrical control unit and a compactor head, responsible for forcefully pushing collected garbage into the garbage container.
  3. Hydraulic & Electrical Control Unit: The power and control system of the equipment, which drives the compactor head to perform compression actions. It is usually equipped with a PLC automatic cycle control system and various sensors.
  4. Container: A sealed container for storing and compressing garbage, featuring high airtightness.
  5. Locking Mechanism: Utilizes designs such as linkage mechanisms to securely lock and fix the rear door.
  6. Tailgate: The rear cover of the container, which serves as the primary sealing component and is opened to dump the garbage at the disposal site.

⚙️ Standardized Workflow

  1. Container Drop-off: The hook-lift garbage truck reverses into the transfer station parking space and unloads the empty mobile garbage compression container.
  2. Bucket Loading: Sanitation workers directly dump garbage from collection vehicles (such as tricycles or hand carts) into the flip bucket at the front of the equipment.
  3. Automatic Compression: The compression program is activated. The flip bucket tips the garbage into the compression chamber, and the compactor head performs horizontal compression. Wastewater generated during the compression process is collected through a dedicated device and discharged into a sand settling tank or sewer system.
  4. Full-container Alarm: When the garbage reaches the set capacity, the equipment automatically issues a full-container signal and stops compressing.
  5. Loading and Transport: The hook-lift truck drives in, hooks the entire full container, and transports it to the garbage disposal site, then returns with an empty container to start the next cycle.

Core Advantages and Features

  • High Efficiency & Environmental Protection, Eliminating Secondary Pollution: The entire process operates in a sealed space, achieving "no ground contact" and "zero intermediate transfer" for garbage clearance. It effectively prevents garbage exposure, scattering, and odor diffusion, and stops the breeding of mosquitoes, flies, rats, and insects.
  • High Automation, Safe & Hygienic: Supports multiple operation modes including wireless remote control, manual buttons, and touch screens. Compression, storage, and discharge are fully automated, eliminating the need for clearance workers to directly contact the garbage. The equipment also features fault self-locking, interlocking, and emergency stop protection functions.
  • Significant Economic Benefits: A high compression ratio (typically achieving a 3:1 to 5:1 compression rate for domestic waste) significantly reduces garbage volume and clearance frequency, lowering transportation costs. The "multiple containers per truck" model greatly reduces vehicle procurement expenses.
  • Flexible Deployment & Low Infrastructure Costs: Requires a small footprint (the entire set of equipment only needs 10-16 square meters). It requires no dedicated station building or complex civil engineering; it can be put into operation simply by having a leveled and hardened ground surface, a 380V power supply, and a sewer connection.

📊 Common Specifications and Parameters

  • Container Volume: Commonly available in 12m³, 18m³, and 20m³, capable of holding up to approximately 18 tons of compressed garbage.
  • Compaction Density: Typically between 0.75 - 0.85 tons/m³.
  • Daily Processing Capacity: Depending on the model, the 8-hour daily processing capacity can reach 40 to 80 tons.
  • Loading Methods: Supports various forms such as automatic hopper loading and automatic hanging-barrel loading (suitable for standard 240L-660L plastic barrels).
