Function & Application
The Propane Storage Tank (also known as an LPG Tank, Gas Tank, Cooking Gas Tank, LPG Plant Tank, or Filling Station Tank) is a specialized product designed for storing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or propane. Classified as special equipment, it is a Grade III pressure vessel crafted from high-quality Q345R steel.
Propane tanks are available in various configurations, including Above-ground and Underground models. To meet diverse needs, tank capacities range from 5,000 to 600,000 liters.
Technical Features
Rigorous Inspection: All welding joints, seams, tank heads, and the geometric positioning of every pressure component undergo strict X-ray inspection.
Advanced Testing: Subjected to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Magnetic Particle Testing, as well as comprehensive tank sealing and pressure resistance tests.
Design Pressure: 1.77 MPa
Hydraulic Test Pressure: 2.21 MPa
Corrosion Allowance: 1 mm
Optional Accessories & Station Equipment: A wide range of configurations is available, including safety valves, shut-off valves, ball valves, pressure gauges, thermometers, magnetic level gauges (or Rochester float level gauges), LPG pumps and motors, LPG compressors, LPG flow meters, cylinder filling scales, filters, and sight glass valves.
